Jess and Nicolas Meyer began their adventure over 14 years ago, each bringing an extensive set of creative abilities and experience to the table. Their love to explore everything new, their passion to create and their individual exposure to various countries and cultures throughout their lives are all key indigents driving this couples dynamic.
Both believe in the balance of things and choose to create a body of work that stays true to their philosophy of wholesome value and respect for life. Their entire approach is clearly not just about the end product; it is about the entire process - the story behind it.
They are known for their refreshing designs, precision work and a focus on sustainability long before “green” was a popular marketing word. Their view at quality and durability, first and foremost as a necessity rather than luxury, steers against today’s ‘disposable product’ mentality. Their commitment to waste reduction, non-off gassing and natural finishes, salvaging and re-cycling building materials, as well as using wood from sustainably harvested sources, including FSC® certification, are just a few aspects that come into play when Jess & Nicolas are making things real.
