Zeolite is the name of a family of naturally occurring minerals that have the ability to adsorb (with a "d" as in "adhere") many common odors. Molecules making up an odor will ionically adhere to the surface of zeolite because of opposite, and thus naturally attracting, charges. (Wearing a protective dust mask may be necessary for some persons when using this product.)
