Having healthy relationships in major areas of life is essential for feeling fulfilled, understood and "well-defined" – but the hectic pace of life can work against this intimacy. Consider sharing the hot tub experience with others for a chance to bond and grow in mutual understanding:

- With Your Spouse or Significant Other: Spending time together is vital. Make your moments more memorable by spending them in a hot tub or spa.
- With Your Kids: If you are a busy mom or dad, your kids might feel you don’t spend enough time with them. Children love to play in hot tubs or spas. Spend some "quality family time" with your little ones, just make sure the water is comfortable for them and you – not too hot.
- With Your Pet: Make sure water is warm, not hot, if you invite your dog to join you. Better yet, consider NOT inviting pets into hot tubs, as shedding hair and related soiling may sully the spa. Instead, take your dog for a walk first (or play with your cat with a string) then enjoy the tub with your human friends.
